| Dr Derrick Willer has qualified as a dentist in 1988 at the dental school of the University of Pretoria (Tukkies) in the degree of BChD. The next 6 years he spent in the United Kingdom practicing as a general dentist. The first 3 years he practiced in the county of Norfolk in the towns of Great Yarmouth and Ormesby and the last 3 years were spent doing dentistry in North London in Enfield.
| | In 1994 he moved to Cape Town, South Africa where he has been practicing dentistry from the Waterfront right in the heart of beautifull Cape Town. His special interest has always and still is esthetic dentistry,doing complete dental makeovers,recreating beautiful smiles.The practice makes use of the revolutionary CEREC technology whereby porcelain crowns,veneers,inlays and fillings can be done in one visit ,chairside without having to make use of a laboratory.
In October 2005 Dr Willer was qualified in Berlin as an International CEREC trainer.
Dr Willer is married to Julie Barry, a wonderfull lady from Dublin, Ireland and they are blessed with a set of non-identical, 6 year old ,twin girls by the names of Mya and Ceara
In his sparetime he is an enthusiastic golfer and surfer. |
